Tuition at Huntercombe Golf Shop
We deliver personalised tuition. Lessons can be given on the course, practice grounds or putting green.
There are three PGA qualified Golf Professionals with a wealth of experience that coach at Huntercombe.
Our full time coaches are Ben O'Dell (Lead instructor) and John Routledge (Teaching Professional) they have maximum availability to coach, including weekends and evenings. Both are supported by Ian Roberts who has a more limited diary.
We provide individual lessons, group lessons and structured packages covering all aspects of golf.
Huntercombe offers exceptional practice facilities, including a covered range, substantial turf ranges, putting green, and short game area.
Golf is one of the greatest games in the world and we would love everyone to be able to enjoy it to the best of their ability. From beginners through to seasoned veterans, whether you are a member of the club or not. We are passionate about coaching, developing your game and maximizing your enjoyment of golf.

Fitting: Manufacturer days (Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Scotty Cameron) throughout the season. Individual fittings available year-round, with Trackman used alongside demo clubs and shafts
Retail shop: Top-tier brands—Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Scotty Cameron, Odyssey, FootJoy, Peter Millar, Glenmuir, KJUS, G/FORE and more. Staff can order products not in stock.

We stock an extensive range of grips and have experienced master club builder Ian Roberts who can assist in club repairs and re-shafts.

Using the latest technology with Trackman, we will gather data on your entire set. This will record both your carry and total shot distances for each club throughout the bag. Knowing how far each club goes will lead to increased confidence with club selection.
This session includes your ‘Pitching Swings’ distances, whether you have 3 or 4 pitching clubs and use a fractional, clock face or body part system to control your in-between yardages.
We will record and produce a personalised yardage card of your full set including pitching swings, handy for you to keep as a reminder whilst playing.
